some things to know before booking:
i offer appointments based on whether or not i feel that i can successfully execute a piece, and if the presented concept aligns with my current artistic interests. things i will never tattoo: another artist's work (without their express permission), culturally appropriative imagery, hate symbols or speech, or any styles outside of my own.
some custom concepts i'm interested in tattooing:
- midwestern flora/fauna
- ornamental pieces
- birds!!!
- fossils/bones/shells
- quilt squares/needlepoint designs/textile work
- illustrative scenes
- architecture
- antique objects/images
- script
i am open to working on customs for new clients, but i highly prefer doing something from my flash for you first so that i can have a better sense of our rapport and you as a person (what you like/what draws you to certain pieces/what your interests are/etc.). i have often found that this results in a better outcome and a piece that feels more true and catered to you as an individual.
i currently price my work by the piece. the total price will depend on size, placement, level of detail, and time spent tattooing. i always give an estimate when i reach out to offer you an appointment so you know roughly what to expect. my minimum is $200, and most of my work falls in the $200-450 range. i also offer half and full-day rates, where we can do as many pieces as fills the time! half-days are $600 and cover anything we can fit in four hours, and full-days are $1000, and cover anything we can do in seven hours.
deposits are $60, and are due within 72 hours of booking. this goes towards the final cost of your tattoo, and is required to hold your spot in my calendar. deposits are nonrefundable, but transferable if you need to reschedule your appointment and provide at least 48 hours notice. you can reschedule once before needing to submit a new deposit. customs are subject to an additional $40 drawing fee that covers and protects my time spent drafting up a piece. this fee does not go towards the final cost.
thanks for your interest in my work!
